Steps for acquiring a spectrum (5 EUR/spectrum):
- Acces the link: https://plati.ubbcluj.ro/en/Event/Details/106 and go to Registration
- Fill the registration form with the information required
- In the Additional details box add the code/name for the samples for which you want to receive the spectra (the sample code/name can be find on each sample page)
- Add the registration fee which is the total amount for your acquisition (each spectrum costs 5 EUR)
- Go to Online payment and finish the registration.
- After payment confirmation, you will receive the spectrum required via the e-mail added in the registration form.
The Raman data detalis:
- The file(s) are .txt format.
- The spectrum range depends on the type of plastic:
- For LDPE, HDPE, PP and PS is: 720 – 1814 cm-1
- For PVC is: 597 – 1715 cm-1
- The parameters used for each spectrum acquisition are noted in the name of the received file as follows: Sample code_ excitation time_ number of acquisitions_ the percentage of the laser power (nominal power is 300 mW)_ objective magnification_ laser wavelength.txt (see below the example)
- The sample code reveal what type of plastic it is and what color
